Cartoon villain that scared you the most as a kid

For me there was no one more terrifying than Mumm-ra from Thundercats, his appearance in any form, his voice and most of all his pyramid. I sure there were occasions that the Thundercats had to go to his pyramid and I'd be thinking 'are they nuts!'

There was also Venger from Dungeons & Dragons who I just found out now was the Dungeon Master's son :surprise: (or more likely I'd forgotten)

That was supposed to be revealed in the last show, but for some reason it was never made. I think somewhere online the you can read the script for it the writer created back then.

In The Dragon's Graveyard (8:05 - 8:07) Dungeon Master calls him 'My Son'

I can't watch the video and it's been a very long time since I have seen the cartoon, but in the context of the show at the time didn't that seem more like a general saying and old guy would make to somebody younger than him. :dunno:

Maybe or they might have left it ambiguous so any ending could be covered. It is hard to imagine them being related to be honest.

Boris from Bullwinkle.

Now I see why you fear communists so much :D

I was never scared of the action cartoon villains. It was the Looney Toons Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde cartoons that scared me the most.

Apocalypse - X-Men
Vulture - Spidey
Bio Broly - Dragon Ball's OAV
Clay Face - Batman

There was plenty of baddies in Ulysses 31 although the Gods were probably the scariest as you could hear their voice all around you but not see them

Not a cartoon, but the flying monkeys on The Wizard of Oz scared the shit out of me. I would seriously walk out of the room and wait for the next scene. I'm saying this in past tense because I haven't watched it in I don't know how long. I probably would still haul ass if I watched it today. :surprise:

There was this creepy character on Mazinger Z that had half a male face and half a female face. I think it was called Baron Ashler. It spoke in a combined male and female double voice. It didn't so much scare me as much as it creeped me out.
